it is only lickle me
Wednesday, October 26, 2005
It's been a few days and there's so much i could blog about but it's all a load of boring shite so i won't!

Scarlet and i enjoyed a rather long bawdy phonecall over the weekend, i'm not revealing the contents but laughter filled the air and i probably deafened my neighbours with my squeals of mirth.

I'm off work now for a week as it's half term and i work time term only. i cleared my desk before i left, but the boss is still working so i guess it won't be clear by the time i get back.

I'm up to scratch on all the housework, even the massive ironing pile is no more, completely diminished by several hours of hard work. i hate ironing.

I've even been and done a big shop, our cupbaords are bursting with lovely goodies!

I'm being summoned, best go, back later

well i never
Wednesday, October 19, 2005
did you know argos sold zimmer frames? no? neither did i i typed in walkie talkie and bleedin zimmer frames and old biddy mobiles sprung up on the page......i'm not that old, senile yes, maybe but not that bloody old. they also have a really good range of those granny trolleys you know the bastard shoppers on 2 wheels that take out your ankles on the high street. ( not a highlight of blighty i miss) i was looking for an alternative to a mobile for princess, 8 years old is far to young to have a mobile, despite most of the kids she knows having better phones than their parents.

things are ok here, calming down a bit at work with the arrival of half term which starts on friday so i will be rested and posting with a vengence!

We have actually had some rain here! a massive thunder storm, earth tremors that shook my house! and a massive ginormous storm forecast for the weekend.

I was involved in setting up a video conference today, how techno! I had a wild and crazy thought and wondered if the more enterprising of the pupils had worked it out and were broadcasting live porn from the conference suite pmsl it was only a thought lol and a very silly one

the arrival of the weather cooling down finally has brought with it unwelcome side effects. it means i'm back on the medication as my hand cramps have recommenced and my joints inflamed once more. bollocks. of course along with that i have super side effects from the meds while they kick in which involves jittures and shakes and a little paranoia. joy.

i'm so looking forward to half term.

oh well better go cook dinner, and do a little housework. i never stop, i tell you.

galaxy caramel is nicer than cadbury's caramel

cry

"Cry"

I have seen peace. I have seen pain,
Resting on the shoulders of your name.
Do you see the truth through all their lies?
Do you see the world through troubled eyes?
And if you want to talk about it anymore,
Lie here on the floor and cry on my shoulder,
I'm a friend.

I have seen birth. I have seen death.
Lived to see a lover's final breath.
Do you see my guilt? Should I feel fright?
Is the fire of hesitation burning bright?
And if you want to talk about it once again,
On you I depend. I'll cry on your shoulder.
You're a friend.

You and I have lived through many things.
I'll hold on to your heart.
I wouldn't cry for anything,
But don't go tearing your life apart.

I have seen fear. I have seen faith.
Seen the look of anger on your face.
And if you want to talk about what will be,
Come and sit with me, and cry on my shoulder,
I'm a friend.
And if you want to talk about it anymore,
Lie here on the floor and cry on my shoulder,
I'm a friend.

my friend

cruising in a speedboat,
wakeboarding, waterskiing, soaking up the rays

it was great to get away for just a few days, the hotel was lovely and the company top class, excpet scarlet wasn't there. the only black cloud on the whole weekend.

it's been a busy few weeks what with the inlaws over and work. things are calming down a little now but maybe thats becasue i'm settling the workload is still huge but i'm enjoying every minutes of it.

plans for this week are drinks out on wednesday, work, work, work, a bit of housework a mountain of ironing, shit who knew how many washloads a few bikini's could fill! this weekend promisies more sun, more water skiing and lots more wine.

it's fecking fab having a life.
