The two biggest medical events were in 1998 when I fractured my spine and in 2003 when I had a golf ball sized benign tumour removed from my breast.

last few days
princess graduates primary school in two days. tonight she was awarded an award a little like a mini duke of edinburgh award. proud.
scared.
my daughter, my baby girl is off to secondary school in a few weeks. one last summer.
i've had an emotional im convo with mums which left me quietly sobbing.
emotional
we've just had three important inspections at work. we came out well
relieved
got a date on saturday night with a lovely bloke......my hubby!
loved
so in a nutshell that's IT!!!
planning on bloggin more often, by request of mums!

i realised something today.
i am a school play snob.
princess was in her school play this afternoon. miscast. but she did me proud regardless.
she has stage presence. it's when she comes alive.
the production on the other hand was dire. the worst school play i have ever seen.
excruciating was the full rendition of amazing grace - now someone remind me just where the feck that fits in to the joseph story, plus wasn't mrs pottipher a slapper?
i know we're only talking 11 year olds but ffs. out some effort in. if you are gonna let kids do this stuff don't let them embarrass themselves.
but then maybe i'm spoilt. i'm used to seeing talented kids, and the not so talented kids being supported to be the best they can be. i'm used to the kids acting like mini professionals under the fabulous guidance of their
amazing directors at youth theatre. but then even the school productions princess were in were always of a high quality.
so there you have it i'm a spoilt school play snob.

i have started and restarted this post a few times now, it's getting on my tits, nothing sounds right!
so busy busy busy as usual. time stands still for no one, and still i wonder just where time is going and how come it's always in a hurry!
i was supposed to be going out friday night but cried off. i was tired, true, but honestly, i couldn't be arsed. there was a big group of us going, i would have only known two of the girls. my shyness and insecurities got the better of me and i decided not to go.
i don't regret it.
i had lovely weekend anyways, without a hangover!
