The two biggest medical events were in 1998 when I fractured my spine and in 2003 when I had a golf ball sized benign tumour removed from my breast.

Dear Daddy
3 weeks tomorrow
3 weeks tomorrow since you left us
I can't believe it's gone so fast.
Not a day has gone by I haven't thought about you, talked about you, laughed at a memory.
And still the storm holds at bay. Still I wait for it all to hit me. Still I am fine, holding it together.
Sometimes I think this has happened to someone else, another family. How can you have gone forever?
Princess asked me a question. I answered no amount of love in the world would have saved you. Nothing anyone could have done could have made you stay.
It was your time.
As long as we talk about you, you'll never leave you'll always be in our hearts.
She accepted that.
I'm so proud of her. She's been incredible. So mature, she's handled your passing so well.
I realised a few days ago I can't pick up the phone for a chat any more. It won't stop me from talking to you, I know you won't answer me but it helps I guess.
So much left unsaid.
I know I made you proud. You told me often enough.
