Well Lou Lou I think you raised quite a few points there...I think the lady with the ankle-length leather coat lives down my road...LOL
Having only recently ventured back into the Nightclub scene, so to speak...long absence due to lack of self respect, ill-fitting clothes, kids and a husband who frankly doesn't give a toss.....I can say it was truly an eye opener...LOL
I didn't feel old as I thought I would, surrounded by young girlies dressed to kill in next to nothing...I felt older and wiser and comfortable in my own skin....for the first time in years I might add.....I felt alive and sexy and ready to "shake my thang!" infront of anyone, anywhere...LOL And this I must add was before the consumption of any alcohol...that came later.
I did the whole "girlie thing".....getting dressed at a friends house, doing our make-up, couple of glasses of wine, stereo on loudly...belting out tunes from our school disco days...bloody fabulous start to a fan-f*ckin tastic evening.
We even got chatted up by a 23 year old, bless him.....all the ladies in the house say aaaaaaaaaaaaahhh!!!
Don't get me wrong he was a looker, nice arse, beautiful smile and woah gorgeous shoes...(for those of you who are guys reading this believe me shoes make a difference...a big difference, sometimes the difference between a potential shag or just a kiss in the taxi on the way home...LOL) and best of all he was tall...6ft 4" and was a gentleman, well we think he might of been, after a round of drinks and trying to cop off with my mate for 20 mins, we pissed off to the toilet and lost the poor bugger...ooops we are bad aren't we...he he! AAh wot the hell...guys do it all the time..needless to say a good time was had by all.
We shook our arses...all night....had a few hands grab 'em, had a few winks and leering glances, had a few admiring glances too and not just from blokes...LOL Hey..I'm at the age where I don't really give a toss if its a guy or a girl doing the lookin...its all flattering either way xx
So here's lookin forward to me next girlie night out and all that that entails....ssssh don't tell the old man though, he might put the padlock on me ball and chain again...miserable sod!!!
