The two biggest medical events were in 1998 when I fractured my spine and in 2003 when I had a golf ball sized benign tumour removed from my breast.

It was stunning, breathtaking, a sight I had never seen before. People were pulling over in their cars just to stop and look, Was it a stunt? I don't know i've not seen anything on the local news or papers. But what it was made you stop, stare and smile.
A large sloping field, topped by a folly, absolutely covered in bright red poppies. It was the most beautiful thing i had ever seen.
If it was for D Day, which it possibly was, it was a fitting tribute to those who gave up so much for us. If it was nature, then it couldn't have been timed better.
I often drive by the field and never once have i seen it like that.
If I have time i'll drive that way again and take a piccie to share. It really was the most spectacular vision.
I did have something else t share but it's vanishe dout of my head now
