what fecking party?
after a shit nights sleep i was awoken at 6.30am by hubby going out wakeboarding, at 8am by princess waking me up
bollocks
so i got up, had breakie and a cuppa, watched a dvd, did some light housework and looked longingly at the pile of cards and presents, waiting for hubby to come home so i could open them.
eventually he got home, i had a surprise visit from karen bearing gifts and hugs and proceeded to slurp another cuppa whilst tearing open the wrapping paper to reveal my gifts.
some lovely surprises, some lovely cards, the bulk of my pressies are still on route from the UK somewhere, bastard international post. so at least i will have another day of pressies or two or three lol still, after kaz left a quiet day, hubby promising to cook awesome chicken burgers as detailed in one of the recipe books he and princess bought me! are they trying to tell me something?
then another surprise visit from deb which lasted sometime. nice to catch up been ages since we've had a good natter, nice gifts too. feeling spoilt actually.
hubby is in the kitchen preparing our meal - i have had to assist a little, which since i will probably end up clearing the bombsite up is beneficial to me.
i've had lovely texts and phonecalls, and e cards too it's been lovely, but quiet.
i can't help wishing a group of loved ones would arrive unanounced
i'm going to get drunk
